You could also pop by Trout Reservoir since you're here at Yakju Reservoir; it's nearby; Devils Tower National Monument       is one of the destinations that are good to pop by close by. Yakju Reservoir gets very little rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Black Hills. A great site to camp here at Yakju Reservoir is Devil's Tower Fort; close by you discover the Lanning Trail which is a good hiking trail. Why                  not camp at Devils Tower Koa Kampground while you're here at Yakju Reservoir, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Yakju Dam next to Yakju Reservoir. Through the summertime months here at Yakju Reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Yakju Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
