Snake River is a fine whitewater spot in close proximity to Lake of the Woods, and Cascade Acres is a striking location to explore while you're at Lake of the Woods. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lake of the Woods, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Lake of the Woods nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime       are in the 0's. The Pitchstone Plateau Trail is a great hiking trail next to Lake of the Woods, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bitch Creek. And that's not all you can do here at Lake of the Woods. If the weather is perfect here at Lake of the Woods, you can go for a hike along the Union Falls Trail; Grand Targhee Ski And Summer Resort is a delightful location to get some rest. This lake is                  so wonderful. Lake of the Woods is pretty waterless generally; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of the Teton Range. Camping is available at Lizard Creek Campground, and there are plenty of folks from Jackson here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Cave Falls Campground is a glorious location to camp, and Cascade Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. This lake is one of the great places here in the Teton Range. And if that's not enough there's a lot more exciting stuff to do in the Teton Range. Lakes?
