While you're here at Lake of the Woods it's a great idea to stop at Fish Creek Park, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Suites Pinedale is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near Lake of the Woods will keep you coming back persistently. Super 8 Dubois is a good site to get some rest, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Green       River. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Union Pass is always fun, and going for a hike along the Lake of the Woods Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake of the Woods you can take a hike along the Union Pass Trail; a lake close by is Flat Lake. That right there is a lot of cool things already but it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all. There's so much to do here at Lake                  of the Woods that you need to camp here for a while, Rawhide Ranch is a tremendous spot for that; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Highline Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek, and Lake of the Woods is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Triangle C Ranch Snowmobile is a brilliant local campground. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever want to return home again. Take a side journey to Grass Creek, and Grass Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Lake of the Woods is frequently a quite dried out location; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is July. High temperatures at Lake of the Woods all through the long summer days are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's.
