Lake of the Woods is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Summer at Lake of the Woods comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake of the Woods dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. It is very dry here at Lake of the Woods regularly; January is the month that gets the most snow,       and July is the month with the least moisture. So much amusing stuff near Lake of the Woods, definitely striking. Boulder Creek is a great whitewater spot close to Lake of the Woods, and Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a tremendous spot to get some rest. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Near Lake of the Woods you find the Highline Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail; dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites                  Pinedale. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Wind River Range. Lake of the Woods is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Triangle C Ranch Snowmobile is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and Fish Creek Park is a great location to check out. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Lake of the Woods is Green River, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Lake of the Woods Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Grass Lake, and Rawhide Ranch is a delightful local campground. Not far from Lake of the Woods, you'll come across Flat Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and you might also want to pay a visit to Union Pass since you're here at Lake of the Woods.
