This lake is located in the wonderful Black Hills. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Wood Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Wood Reservoir. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Black Hills. Don't leave Wood Reservoir without       first paying a visit to Lost Spring; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Inn At Sundance is a brilliant choice. There are magnificent locations to look at along the Simmons Trail, and a good place to check out close by is Lucky Gulch. Wood Reservoir is frequently a relatively arid site; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Black Hills. Wood Reservoir                  is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Mountain View Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby, and why not take a little spree to Cub Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Lodge Campground is a nice local campground, and not far from Wood Reservoir you'll stumble on Cook Lake which is a delightful lake. Devils Tower National Monument is a very tremendous spot to take a look at close to Wood Reservoir, and at French Dam in close proximity to Wood Reservoir there are some attention-grabbing things to see. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Rauth Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Best Western Devils Tower Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
