On a glorious day at Wolf Lake you can take a hike along the Chilcoot Trail, and there are other places here than Wolf Lake, for example Duck Lake. Whisky Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Jim Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Wolf Lake you can take a hike along the Cottonwood Trail; after a long day outdoors       Best Western Pinedale Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Throughout the days of summer at Wolf Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Wolf Lake.
