Lake Winona is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and there's magnificent hiking along the Lake Ethel Trail. Around Lake Winona you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Through the summertime here at Lake Winona, high temperatures generally reach the 70's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's.
