Having a magnificent time at Willow Park Reservoir is easy. Highland Park Campground is a great campground nearby; Willow Park Reservoir is a location with many visitors from Sheridan. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Wagon Box Campground is a splendid local campground, and since you're here, you could also visit picturesque Cloud Peak Reservoir.       Willow Park Reservoir is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; through April this area sees the most snow while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. It's a brilliant idea to explore Kearny Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Willow Park Reservoir; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Clear Creek. The scenery at Willow Park Dam close to Willow Park Reservoir is delightful, and do stop at Willow Park Reservoir, it's a gorgeous lake. Going for a hike along the Solitude Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sheridan-Days Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Stockwell Trail. All through the warmest time of the year here at Willow Park Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows at Willow Park Reservoir during the winter frequently descend into the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bighorn Mountains.
