If you are in this part of Wyoming make sure to pay a visit to Willow Lake. All year is a good time in the Bighorn Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. The Mistymoon Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Willow Lake, and Willow Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Circle Park Campground is a tremendous local campground. Willow Lake is generally a relatively dried up spot; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most snow,

| | and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Powder River - North Fork for all you adrenaline people; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Angeline Trail. But wait, there's more to do near Willow Lake. There are other places here than Willow Lake, for example Martin Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Solitude Trail. and a glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Crossroads Inn. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Bighorn Mountains. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not check out Romeo Lake in close proximity to Willow Lake.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Tensleep Creek; a quick tour to Pass Creek is certainly a good idea. Willow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains. During the warmest time of
the year at Willow Lake highs are generally in the 60's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Willow Lake tend to be in the 0's.
