The top of Natural Fort is easily observed from Williams Number 2 Reservoir, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork. There are other places here than Williams Number 2 Reservoir, for example Williams Number 3 Reservoir; not far from Williams Number 2 Reservoir you'll hit upon Weaver Reservoir which is a wonderful lake. After       a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Laramie is a great place to spend a night or two, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Lincoln Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Overland Trail is a magnificent hiking trail in close proximity to Williams Number 2 Reservoir; Vedauwoo Campground is a perfect local campground. What a place this is for outdoors folks. This is a popular place for people from Laramie, and close by you come across the Pole Mountain                  Trail which is a great hiking trail. Williams Number 2 Reservoir is ordinarily a pretty waterless location; the month with most of the rain is July; January is when it's the driest.
