Nearby lakes? Sure, Steele Lake is near Widgit Lake, and a tremendous place to camp here at Widgit Lake is Squirrel Creek Guest Ranch and Inn. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Widgit Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Widgit Lake through the winter commonly sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Widgit Lake is right by the Boundary
