Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not pop by Bear Lake next to West Tensleep Lake, and there's whitewater on Paintrock Creek for all you adrenaline people. There are some good whitewater spots on Tensleep Creek, and Bear Park is a striking location any time of year. A beautiful lake like Lake Helen near West Tensleep Lake is a pleasant place to check out; Island Park Campground is a perfect local campground. This       lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Cliff Lake Trail is glorious fun; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Creek Campground is a wonderful spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here in the Bighorn Mountains. West Tensleep Lake is right by the Mistymoon Trail; let's not forget Middle Tensleep Creek which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. West Tensleep Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bighorn Mountains.                  High temperatures at West Tensleep Lake throughout the summertime are in the 60's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for West Tensleep Lake. Just can't get enough of West Tensleep Lake. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Big Horn Ski, and going for a hike along the Main Paint Rock Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
