You're probably interested in lakes, Coon Lake is one of those nearby, and you can run the rapids of Middle Popo Agie River. West Echo Lake is typically a quite dehydrated site; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most; December is when it's the driest. And that's not all you can do here at West Echo Lake. There's so much to do here at West Echo Lake that you need to camp here       for a while, Dickinson Creek Campground is a great spot for that, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Ice Lakes Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Wind River Range for a great time. If you came to camp Big Sandy Campground is a good place to do that. A delightful location like Pinto Park here at West Echo Lake is too great to miss, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Pinto Park Trail. For the period of the summertime                  months at West Echo Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at West Echo Lake drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a fine area for people who like lakes. Smith Lake is a lake in close proximity, and on a great day you can take a hike along the High Meadow Trail.
