Throughout the summer here at West Echo Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for West Echo Lake. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more cool things to do here in the Wind River Range. A splendid nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge. This lake       is so wonderful. Don't leave West Echo Lake without first going for a hike along the High Meadow Trail, and Dickinson Creek Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more fun stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Interesting geology is available here; Chimney Rock is near West Echo Lake, and if you've had enough of West Echo Lake, Echo Lakes is close by. There's glorious hiking along the Pinto Park Trail, and                  a spree to Pinto Park revives the spirit. West Echo Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. West Echo Lake is a location that is reasonably arid regularly; May is the month that gets the most rain while December is generally the driest month. Stay the night at Big Sandy Campground, and there's whitewater on Middle Popo Agie River for all you adrenaline people. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to West Echo Lake.
