     Quality Inn & Suites Laramie is a brilliant place to get some rest; swamps like Alsop Slough right next door to Watt Lake make for wonderful locations to explore. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Watt Lake has to offer, you can camp at Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest, and if you need a place to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Laramie is a great choice. Throughout the summertime at Watt Lake temperatures  
   are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Watt Lake. There's so much to do here at Watt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Fork - Medicine Bow National Forest is a delightful place for that, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Laramie here.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Watt Lake.
 
               Sprague Creek is a good place to check out, and Watt Lake is not the only place nearby, West Carroll Lake is a nearby lake. The slopes of Snowy Range are so inviting nobody can resist. It is very arid here at Watt Lake mostly; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is January.
A lake close by is Teri Lake, and don't leave Watt Lake without first going for a hike along the Overland Trail.
