    Why not stop by Washakie Lake if you're passing through these parts. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wind River Range. If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a perfect view of Bair Peak from Washakie Lake; you need to go to Washakie Glacier if you're here. Stay the night at Dickinson Creek Campground, and a spree to Ranger Park revitalizes the spirit. This lake is so wonderful.

   check out Texas Pass, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Shadow Lake Trail. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. The Bears Ears Trail offers hiking at its best, and do take a hike on the Lizard Head Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range.
Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a good place to get some rest; there's whitewater on Bull Lake Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. If only every spot had this
 
               much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. Washakie Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Big Sandy Campground is a brilliant location to camp nearby, and a beautiful lake like Twin Lakes is a magnificent site to stop at. High temperatures at Washakie Lake through the warm months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Washakie Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
Around Washakie Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is December.
