This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Upper Silver Lakes is close by, and you can stay the night at Scab Creek Campground. Throughout the months of summer here at Warbonnet Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and the night is slightly colder of course, usually in the 40's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter       temperatures at Warbonnet Lake drop into the-10's. This location, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors cool things. A perfect spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Warbonnet Lake is Bull Lake Creek, and the Scab Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. There's some flowing water nearby, Raid Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and good hiking is available                  along the Silver Lake Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Cross Lake; Warbonnet Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Big Sandy Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do next to Warbonnet Lake. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a magnificent choice, and you obtain a pleasant panorama of Mitchells Nipple from here. This lake is so wonderful. Warbonnet Lake is located in the Wind River Range. The scenery at Silver Lake Dam near Warbonnet Lake is striking, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Warbonnet Lake; Crossover Trail is a perfect local trail.
