Walters Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Shell Creek Campground is a perfect local campground, and Big Horn Ski is a good local ski area. While you're here at Walters Reservoir it's a delightful idea to go to Alkali Flats; Walters Dam is a spot that is next to Walters Reservoir. Walters Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most       of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Worland is a perfect choice, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Bench Trail. A great place to camp here at Walters Reservoir is Granite Creek Campground, and there's whitewater on Shell Creek for all you thrill seekers. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Walters Reservoir. If you get                  bored of Walters Reservoir, you could also stop by close by Enlargement of the Walters Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Walters Reservoir is not the only site close by, Walters Reservoir is a close by lake, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Adelaide Trail. On a tremendous day at Walters Reservoir you can take a hike along the Dry Horse Trail. Summertime highs at Walters Reservoir usually tend to be in the 90's while night lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Walters Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
