Going for a hike along the Dry Horse Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and there's always Enlargement of the Walters Dam to have a look at close to Walters Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Passage Resort at Big       Horn is a pleasant choice, and you can stay the night at Shell Creek Campground. Walters Reservoir is right by the Bench Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Horn Ski is quite near. There's so much to do here at Walters Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Granite Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that, and a quick journey to Springs Creek is beyond doubt a fine idea. If you come at the right time of year, Shell                  Creek offers some glorious whitewater, and Walters Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit. At Walters Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Walters Reservoir.
