Go to Walters Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Camping at Shell Creek Campground is always a great experience, and Walters Reservoir is right by the Adelaide Trail. A wonderful place to camp here at Walters Reservoir is Granite Creek Campground, and there's whitewater on Paintrock Creek for all you thrill seekers. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Worland, also Enlargement of the Walters Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Walters Reservoir. After a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a great site to spend a night or two, and there's some flowing water close by, Springs Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.

This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bench Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Horn Ski is relatively near. Throughout the long summer days at Walters Reservoir temperatures are frequently
in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Walters Reservoir. Take a hike on the Dry Horse Trail, and get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Shell Creek.
