    Go to Lake WGN if you want to go to a nice lake. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. Going for a hike on the Morrison Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and if you need a place to stay Yodeler Motel is a good choice. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Lake WGN has it all. A great place to camp here at Lake WGN is Island Lake Campground; glide down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone  
   River in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake WGN is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Long Lake Campground is a fine local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone River offers some glorious whitewater. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Lake WGN; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and October on the other hand is the driest. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is bountiful
 
               here in the Absaroka Range. There is a perfect hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake WGN called the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail; Sawtooth Meadows is a nice location to stretch your legs a bit.
This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. Near Lake WGN you locate the Lewis and Clark Trail which is a great hiking trail; why not head up to Red Lodge Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Through the summer highs here at Lake WGN get into the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake WGN dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
