This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. Take a hike on the Boulder Canyon Trail; a delightful location for whitewater paddling is Boulder Creek. It is very waterless here at Lake Vera generally; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are truly plentiful here at Lake Vera. In the event       that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pole Creek; there are other sites here than Lake Vera, for example Divide Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Isabella Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Vera that you need to camp here for a while, Scab Creek Campground is a splendid place for that. For the period of the days of summer at Lake Vera temperatures are frequently in the 70's with nighttime lows                  in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Lake Vera nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range.
