Van Tassel Lake is right by the High Line Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Kountry Kabins. Van Tassel Lake gets very little rainfall; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. An interesting thing to take a look at in close proximity to Van Tassel Lake is Van Tassel Lake Dam; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Blacks Fork - West       Fork. High temperatures at Van Tassel Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Van Tassel Lake are in the 0's. Nearby Beaver Dam Hollow is a nice site to go if you're at Van Tassel Lake; why not camp at Little Lyman Lake Campground while you're here at Van Tassel Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Bear River Smiths Fork                  Trail offers hiking at its best, and Drown Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. Get soaked paddling on Blacks Fork - East Fork; do take a hike on the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a picturesque lake called Vacher Reservoir near Van Tassel Lake. Yeah, come here to Van Tassel Lake for a splendid time.
