What a nice lake Valley Lake is. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Valley Lake is excellent! Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Milky Lakes is one of those nearby. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Wind River Range. The summit of Medina Mountain can be distinguished from Valley Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Europe Canyon Trail. On a wonderful day

| | at Valley Lake you can take a hike along the Lake Isabella Trail, and Valley Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Campground is a perfect local campground.

close by you find Europe Canyon which is a brilliant location to go to. Not much rain falls here at Valley Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month.
All through
the long summer days highs here at Valley Lake get into the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Valley
Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail close to Valley Lake called the Firehole Trail, and glide down the rapids of Bull Lake Creek in a kayak.
