Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Vagner Lake. The landscape around Vagner Lake is dominated by the Snowy Range, and there are other places here than Vagner Lake, for example Hatchet Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. There's perfect hiking along the Circle Trail; Lewis Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. Throughout       the summer months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Vagner Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Vagner Lake are in the 10's. This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Not much rainfall falls here at Vagner Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Good                  hiking is available along the Lakes Trail, and why not camp at Mirror Lake Campground if you're here at Vagner Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Sage And Sand Motel LLC, and you don’t have to go far from Vagner Lake to see the water at First Enlargement of Wiant Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit North Platte River. Not far from Vagner Lake, you'll find Vosseller Lake which is a pretty lake, and don't leave Vagner Lake without first going for a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail. So much cool stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains, not sufficient time.
