Throughout the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Vagner Lake while night lows are regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Vagner Lake through the winter commonly dip into the 10's. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Vagner Lake. Vagner Lake is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Lewis Lake Campground is a pleasant                  site to camp nearby, and glorious hiking is available along the Circle Trail. Be careful coming to the Medicine Bow Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. North Platte River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Mirror Lake Campground is a good campground nearby. Go for a hike on the Lakes Trail; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Snowy Range if you're here. Vosseller Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; there are glorious places to explore along the Medicine Bow Trail. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Medicine Bow Mountains has it all.
