High temperatures at Upper Silver Lakes throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Upper Silver Lakes dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. There's tremendous hiking along the Silver Lake Trail, and Upper Silver Lakes is not the only spot nearby, Silver Lake is a nearby       lake. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Wind River Range. You could also visit Silver Lake while you're here at Upper Silver Lakes; it's close by, and Best Western Pinedale Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Big Sandy Campground is a splendid local campground, and paddling on Bull Lake Creek is so much fun. Don't forget to take a perfect little journey to Raid                  Creek, and Upper Silver Lakes is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Scab Creek Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby. Just can't get enough of Upper Silver Lakes. The Crossover Trail offers hiking at its best, and the top of Mitchells Nipple is easily spotted from Upper Silver Lakes. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more amusing things to do in the Wind River Range. Upper Silver Lakes is right by the Scab Creek Trail; Silver Lake Dam has glorious water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Silver Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range.
