All through the summer months highs here at Upper Silas Lake reach the 80's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Upper Silas Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wind River Range. Going for a hike on the Christina Lake Trail is always a tremendous adventure; whitewater paddling       is great on Middle Popo Agie River. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge, and camping is available at Fiddlers Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Popo Agie Campground if you're here at Upper Silas Lake, and a lake nearby is Boulder Lake. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Upper Silas Lake. Good hiking is available along the Louis Lake Trail; while you're here at Upper Silas Lake it's a perfect idea                  to have a look at Little Popo Agie Basin. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. Go for a hike on the Sioux Pass Trail; if you get bored of Upper Silas Lake you could also explore nearby Tomahawk Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Cony Mountain can be made out from Upper Silas Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Riverton here. Upper Silas Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. Upper Silas Lake is a location that is reasonably waterless mostly; the month with most of the rain is May, and December meanwhile is the driest month.
