Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Upper Rock Creek Reservoir dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Indian Trail, and why not camp at Louis       Beach Campground while you're here at Upper Rock Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A good place to camp here at Upper Rock Creek Reservoir is Louis Lake Campground; after a long day outdoors Best Western Inn At Lander is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Upper Rock Creek Reservoir is pretty arid mostly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
