You don’t have to go far from Upper Reservoir to make out the water at Upper Cottonwood Dam, and Upper Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Owl Creek Kampground is a splendid local campground. Upper Reservoir is a location that is quite dry usually; the month with most of the rain is May; February is the month with the least moisture. This is no site for people who       don’t like to enjoy themselves. Camping at Rudy's Camper Court is always a delightful experience, and there are plenty of people from Riverton here at Upper Reservoir. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wind River, and Upper Cottonwood Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Throughout the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Upper Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come                  with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Upper Reservoir temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
