There's so much to do here at Upper Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Rudy's Camper Court is a good place for that; Sundowner Station Motel is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Johnson Trail is pleasant fun; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a perfect choice. Some nearby water includes Cottonwood       Drain, and Upper Cottonwood Dam is a picturesque site. Here at Upper Reservoir there are plenty of people from Riverton, and whitewater paddling is fine on Wind River. Summer at Upper Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Upper Reservoir descend into the                  0's. It is very dried up here at Upper Reservoir commonly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place.
