This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. At Upper Phillips Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest of the months is February. If you need a place to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great choice, and you can run the rapids of Wind River. This place, Upper Phillips Lake, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff.       Camping at Circle Up Camper Court Shop is always a wonderful experience, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a great site to spend a night or two. Having a great time in the Wind River Range is simple. Upper Phillips Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Longhorn RV & Motel is a great local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Ross Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Double Lake, and there are nice spots                  to explore along the Ink Wells Trail. This lake is so wonderful. During the summertime months highs here at Upper Phillips Lake reach the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 30's; nighttime lows at Upper Phillips Lake during the winter frequently descend into the 10's. A tour to Burro Flat rejuvenates the soul, and Wind River - East Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Wind River Range has to offer.
