Going for a hike on the Edelman Trail is always a great adventure; if you're here, you could       also go to pretty Lower Paint Rock Lake. Upper Medicine Lodge Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Medicine Lodge Lake Campground is a splendid spot to camp nearby; what would winter be without some skiing at Big Horn Ski. That right there is a load of fun things already but it goes on, the Bighorn Mountains has it all. Near Upper Medicine Lodge Lake you stumble on the North High Park Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and there's                  whitewater on Paintrock Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Upper Medicine Lodge Lake is a location that is relatively waterless ordinarily; April is the month that gets the most snow, and February is the month with the least moisture. During the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 60's at Upper Medicine Lodge Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Upper Medicine Lodge Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
