You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Wind River Range has to offer. Hiking along the Surveyor Park Trail is splendid fun, and the view of Photographers Point is stunning. For the period of the warm months here at Upper Long Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and through the       dark hours in the winter at Upper Long Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. A fine close by hotel is Hampton Inn Suites Pinedale, and why not camp at Upper Fremont Lake Campground if you're here at Upper Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Trails End Campground, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Pole Creek. Yep, outdoors                  entertaining stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Upper Long Lake. The Pole Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; a lake nearby is Miller Lake. Around Upper Long Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; during June this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Wind River Range is so good! Upper Long Lake is right by the Elkhart Loop Ski Trail, and paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun.
