Upper Jean Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Trails End Campground is a perfect local campground; Shannon Pass is nearby, and is a splendid spot. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Wind River Range has to offer. A magnificent site to camp here at Upper Jean Lake is Upper Fremont Lake Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. The Indian       Pass Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a site to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a delightful choice. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Upper Jean Lake get into the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Upper Jean Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Boulder Creek, and no need to travel                  far to explore exciting stuff like Stroud Glacier. Having a fine time in the Wind River Range is uncomplicated. Whitewater paddling is great on Pole Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Miner Lake. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Upper Jean Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Jean Lake; Titcomb Basin Trail is a brilliant local trail. Lakes?
