Upper Golden Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. So many cool things to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Since you're here at Upper Golden Lake why not check out Hay Pass, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. | | all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Hay Pass Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Douglas Peak is a peak you can observe from Upper Golden Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Bull Lake Creek. amount of precipitation. Summer at Upper Golden Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is rather colder of course, commonly in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows
in the 10's to Upper Golden Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the vicinity of Upper Golden Lake called the Cook Lake Trail; Scab Creek Campground is a great local campground. Looking for something
close to Upper Golden Lake? Lake Louise is close at hand, and the Baldy Lake Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff right next door to Upper Golden Lake. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Timico Lake is one of those close by, and Boulder Campground is a splendid campground nearby.
