So many exciting things to do here in the Wind River Range, too great to be true. Around Upper Baer Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain while December is frequently the driest month. Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on       Middle Popo Agie River, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Pinto Park Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and hiking along the High Meadow Trail is brilliant fun. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Upper Baer Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs                  through the winter are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Upper Baer Lake. Pinto Park is a magnificent place here at Upper Baer Lake, and you can stay the night at Big Sandy Campground. You'll come across a pretty lake called Lower Baer Lake near Upper Baer Lake, and Upper Baer Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Dickinson Creek Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.
