This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the High Meadow Trail, and why not camp at Big Sandy Campground if you're here at Upper Baer Lake. Summertime highs at Upper Baer Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Upper Baer Lake. Around Upper       Baer Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is December. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Upper Baer Lake. Camping is available at Dickinson Creek Campground; if you come at the right time of year, Middle Popo Agie River offers some tremendous whitewater. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Wind River Range.
