Drift down the rapids of Green River in a kayak, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Moon Lake Trail. Here at Union Lake you can see Union Peak; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Dubois is a good location to spend a night or two. This location, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wind River, and Union Lake       is great enough to spend more than a day at, Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a great local campground. So much exciting stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Moon Lake near Union Lake; the Geyser Creek Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. Camping at Rawhide Ranch is always a fine experience; do stop by Grass Lake, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of                  the year brings highs in the 80's to Union Lake. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Union Lake dip into the 10's. Union Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a good choice; there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Union Pass Trail.
