Uhl Dam has great water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Uhl Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Lava Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Jenny Lake Lodge is a splendid spot to get some rest; paddling on Ditch Creek is so much fun. Why not camp at Lava Creek Campground since you're here at Uhl Reservoir;       camping is available at Colter Bay Village RV Park. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Uhl Reservoir. On a delightful day you obtain a sight of Uhl Hill from Uhl Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Two Ocean Lake Trail. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Uhl Reservoir; through January this area sees the most snow while July is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Elk Ranch                  Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Uhl Reservoir; a spree to Grand Teton National Park is worthwhile. If you need a place to stay Colter Bay Village is a magnificent choice, and don't forget to take a great little visit to Coal Creek. For the period of the days of summer here at Uhl Reservoir, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Uhl Reservoir temperatures descend to the-10's. Coal Mine Draw is a fine place to explore, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Uhl Reservoir; Emma Matilda Lake Trail is a tremendous local trail.
