For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Twin Mountains Lake descend into the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River, and Twin Mountains Lake is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Vedauwoo Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby.
