There's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline people, and Twin Mountains Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Vedauwoo Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cache La Poudre River - North Fork, and you're almost certainly hooked on lakes,       Twin Mountains Lake is one of those close by. Lakes are glorious; South Crow Creek Reservoir is a lake that's next to Twin Mountains Lake; you can go for a hike on the Brady Rock Trail. The peaks of the Twin Mountains dominate the scenery of this area, and going for a hike on the Lattas Ranch Trail is always a great adventure. Summertime highs at Twin Mountains Lake typically tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The winter comes with                  highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Twin Mountains Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Yellow Pine Campground, and there are splendid locations to discover along the Buford Trail. Twin Mountains Lake is a location that is relatively dry frequently; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while January is regularly the driest month.
