Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lattas Ranch Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork. Twin Mountains Lake is a location that is pretty dried up typically; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Yellow Pine Campground is a fine local campground; float down the rapids of Cache La       Poudre River in a kayak. Why not camp at Vedauwoo Campground since you're here at Twin Mountains Lake, and the Twin Mountains makes the scenery here fine. Summertime at Twin Mountains Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Twin Mountains Lake tend to be in the 0's. If you want                  a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Twin Mountains Lake. Hiking along the Brady Rock Trail is nice fun, and the view of gorgeous Twin Mountains is delightful.
