     This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Tongue River, and a nice location to camp here at Twin Lakes Number 1 is Twin Lakes Campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Twin Lakes Number 1; the wettest month of the year is mostly April, that's the one that snows the most while February is generally the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bighorn Mountains. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Antelope  
   Butte, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Twin Lakes.
If you like the outdoors, you'll like Twin Lakes Number 1. Lakes? Sure, Dome Lake Number 1 is close by, and getting to Coney Creek from Twin Lakes Number 1 is trouble-free. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Wolf Creek Trail. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Bighorn Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Dry warm beds await you
 
               at The Passage Resort at Big Horn, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Roosevelt Trail.
A great site for whitewater paddling close to Twin Lakes Number 1 is Paintrock Creek, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn & Suites Sheridan is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's some exciting stuff to distinguish at Sawmill Dam close to Twin Lakes Number 1; do take a hike on the Game Creek Trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Horn Ski, and why not camp at Big Goose Campground since you're here at Twin Lakes Number 1.
Summer at Twin Lakes Number 1 arrives with high temperatures in the 60's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Twin Lakes Number 1 drop into the 0's. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
