Middle Gooseberry Creek is a great local stream. High temperatures at Twin Lakes through the days of summer are in the 80's, and the overnight is rather chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Twin Lakes tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Timber Creek Trail; camping is       available at Brown Mountain Campground. Twin Lakes is right by the Gooseberry Trail; camping at Wood River Campground is always a brilliant experience. The Wind River Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors Cody Legacy Inn and Suites is a perfect spot to spend a night or two.
