Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A pleasant spree to Goat Flat is a nice way to spend an afternoon, and Turquoise Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a fine place to camp nearby. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Wind River Range. Do take a look       at Bomber Lake right next door to Turquoise Lake, it's a striking lake, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Wind River. Turquoise Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. Don't leave Turquoise Lake without first going for a hike along the Whiskey Mountain Trail, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Dubois is a splendid place to spend a night or two. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Wind                  River Range. You get a fine panorama of The Guardian from Turquoise Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Turquoise Lake; Glacier Trail is a fine local trail. At Turquoise Lake you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Ross Lake Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer at Turquoise Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Turquoise Lake dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
