Turbid Lake is usually a quite dried up site; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Turbid Lake reach the 70's with night lows in the 30's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Turbid Lake. That right there is a lot of enjoyable things       already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. If you need a place to stay Colter Bay Village is a good choice, and Butte Spring is always fun to check out. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Turbid Lake. There is a delightful hiking trail right next door to Turbid Lake called the Pelican Creek Trail, and nearby you stumble on the Jones Pass Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy                  all the enjoyable stuff in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Turbid Lake, you could also explore nearby Indian Pond, and the summit of Lake Butte can be made out from Turbid Lake. Getting to Bear Creek from Turbid Lake is simple, and going for a hike on the Clear Creek Trail is always a good adventure. Turbid Lake is not the only location nearby, White Lake is a nearby lake, and Tower Fall Campground is a magnificent local campground.
