    If you are in Park county it's always a good idea to stop by Trout Lake. Trout Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Pebble Creek Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby, and Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is a splendid spot to get some rest. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back over and over. Hiking along the Thunderer Cutoff Trail is splendid fun, and not far from Trout Lake you'll locate Shrimp  
   Lake which is a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful.
During the summertime at Trout Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Trout Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Be careful coming to Trout Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If you're here, you might
 
               as well stop at Soda Butte Canyon, and some close by water includes Pebble Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. Stay the night at Soda Butte Campground, and going for a hike along the Specimen Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Clarks Fork Yellowstone has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Miller Creek Trail. Not much rain falls here at Trout Lake; most of the rain falls during June; the driest of the months is February.
A perfect spot like Round Prairie here at Trout Lake is too good to miss. Lakes? Sure, Buck Lake is in close proximity.
