I have been within two miles of the lake and can't get to it because of the dangers that surround it. There are cliffs and the trail to the lake is a slippery waterfall. There's so much to do here at Triangle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a magnificent place for that, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Elkhart Loop Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Bridger Lakes near Triangle Lake, it's a wonderful lake. And if that's not enough there's plenty more enjoyable stuff to do in the Wind River Range. If you're       here at Triangle Lake, you could pop by Fremont Creek, and a pretty lake like Upper Long Lake is a good spot to have a look at. At Triangle Lake you don’t see much rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here while February is commonly the driest month. So many enjoyable things to do at Triangle Lake, so little time. There's whitewater on Boulder Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great location to get some rest.                  This lake is so wonderful. Miller Park is right here at Triangle Lake, and going for a hike on the Surveyor Park Trail is always a nice adventure. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pole Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more fun things to do here in the Wind River Range. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Triangle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Trails End Campground, and the Pole Creek Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. Triangle Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Triangle Lake while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's.
