The beauty of Treasure Lake attracts many people from all around. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Teton Range. If you come at the right time of year, Bitch Creek offers some good whitewater; dry warm beds await you at Teton Valley Cabins. During the summertime months at Treasure Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in
the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Treasure Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Teton Range.
Why not take a look at close by Miles Creek since you're here at Treasure Lake, and if you would like a little side spree, try Bear Canyon. Take a hike on the Alaska Basin Trail; not far from Treasure Lake you'll find Green Lake which is a beautiful lake. Around Treasure Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; during the month of May

you get the most rain around here; August meanwhile is the driest month.
So much entertaining stuff in the Teton Range, just extraordinary. Teton Campground is a delightful local campground, and soar down the rapids of Teton Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Andy Stone Trail is tremendous fun, and obviously, all our national parks are delightful locations to stop by and Grand Teton National Park is no exception. This place, Treasure Lake, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you're popping by Treasure Lake from Jackson, you won't be the only one, and Grand Targhee Ski And Summer Resort is a pleasant spot to get some rest.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Teton Range. The skiing at Snow King is splendid; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by South Leigh Lakes. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Treasure Lake. One of the principal marks of the surroundings of Treasure Lake is Treasure Mountain, and Teton Village / Jackson West KOA is a nice campground nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Treasure Lake is right by the South Leigh Creek Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Jackson Hole is reasonably near.

Lake Solitude Trail
July 18, 2008 Just got back from a hike to the lake yesterday. Always incredibly beautiful at any time of year (when the trail is open) A lot of flowers blooming earlier than usual because of the copious amount of melt. A bull moose, sow and calf near the trail just past the fork. The last half mile is covered in snow so that can slow you down a little. The lake is still almost completely iced over. Saw two 13'' fish (trout?) in the small, open area of the lake. Marmots snuck around our lunch spot hoping for a hand-out (don't feed anything). One of the most beautiful hikes around. If you think you're a strong hiker but haven't done many hikes or aren't used to the altitude, bring enough water for about a seven hour hike. Stronger hikers can make it in about 5 1/2 hours & seasoned hikers less--but count on a bottle of water (and Gatoraid) every hour....

Jenny Lake Campground
15 miles away
We love Jenny Lake and want to camp their with our family and friends...4 kids, 4 adults.  I am worried about not having reservations....is that a problem?...Jenny Lake Campground was awesome. The view was amazing. It was quite and secluded, the camp store is just a short walk from the camping sites. The lake is beautiful and quiet, no boats zipping around. We stayed at site #50, other sites that I would recommend are 45,46 and 47. These sites have the best view. The best thing was the FLUSH toilets. If you want a vacation away form all of the touristy things you should definitly stay at Jenny Lake. If you get there in the afternoon grab a site. You can always move the next day. It seemed like a lot of people only stayed 1 night....
