    What a nice lake Top Lake is. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do in the Absaroka Range. If you came to camp Long Lake Campground is a glorious site to do that. Don't leave Top Lake without first going for a hike along the Morrison Trail, and the peak of Sawtooth Mountain can be observed from Top Lake. Summer at Top Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 30's. High temperatures through the wintertime  
   are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Top Lake dip into the 0's.
And that's not all you can do here at Top Lake. Sawtooth Meadows is a splendid location to stretch your legs a bit, and going for a hike on the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail is always a good adventure. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; if you need a site to stay Yodeler Motel is a magnificent choice.
 
               The annual rainfall here at Top Lake is about average; June is the wettest month with most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
You just ought to like the Absaroka Range. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Red Lodge Mountain; camping at Buena Vista Campground is always a splendid experience. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; you can go for a hike on the Lewis and Clark Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range.
