The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Tommy Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. During the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Tommy Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. Looking for something near Tommy Lake? Lake Nelson is in the neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody       but if it's for you then, we recommend Boulder Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Tommy Lake has to offer, you can camp at Trails End Campground. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Pole Creek, and do have a look at Monument Creek if you're here at Tommy Lake. Tommy Lake is one of the lakes                  here in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Lester is beautiful and can be distinguished from Tommy Lake, and nearby you stumble on the Cook Lake Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail is always a pleasant adventure; close by Lester Pass is a wonderful place to go. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wind River Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Cook Lakes is in close proximity to Tommy Lake. There's so much to do here at Tommy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Boulder Campground is a tremendous location for that. Not much rain falls here at Tommy Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Tommy Lake.
