What a place this is for outdoors folks. Why not camp at Fiddlers Lake Campground while you're here at Tomahawk Lake, and Tomahawk Lake is right by the Sioux Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Middle Popo Agie River, and a wonderful place to visit is Silas Canyon. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wind River Range. Here at Tomahawk       Lake you can catch a sight of Cony Mountain; the Christina Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. If you need a place to stay Best Western Inn At Lander is a delightful choice, and a pleasant journey to Little Popo Agie Basin is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Tomahawk Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Gustave Lake, and do take a hike on the Louis Lake                  Trail. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Tomahawk Lake get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Tomahawk Lake. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is abundant here in the Wind River Range. If you came for an overnight stay Popo Agie Campground is a glorious site to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge. You'll meet a lot of folks from Riverton here.
