     Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; if you need a location to stay The Cody is a tremendous choice. High temperatures at Tippecanoe Reservoir all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Tippecanoe Reservoir plunge into the 10's. Going for  
   a hike on the Morrison Trail is always a good adventure; perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Luce Reservoir is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Tippecanoe Reservoir called the Custer National Forest Trail, and pretty scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Red Lodge Mountain.
If you want to visit some attention-grabbing stuff, visit Kimball Bench; Tippecanoe Reservoir is great
 
               enough to spend more than a day at, Dead Indian Campground is a great local campground. Cody Cowboy Village is a great place to get some rest, and there are some good whitewater spots on Shoshone River.
But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Tippecanoe Reservoir. Paint Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth going to, and a perfect site to camp here at Tippecanoe Reservoir is Yellowstone Valley Inn. Tippecanoe Reservoir is a good spot of typical precipitation; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Tippecanoe Dam is an exciting thing to check out, unsurprisingly you could also check out Hopkins Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all.
