There's so much to do here at Tibbals Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Scab Creek Campground is a wonderful location for that. There's glorious hiking along the Scab Lake Trail; get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Pole Creek. For the period of the summertime       highs here at Tibbals Reservoir get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Tibbals Reservoir temperatures sink to the-10's. Don't leave Tibbals Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Emigrant Trail; the Scab Sage Trail offers hiking at its best.
