Going for a hike along the Stough Creek Basin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; you're perhaps keen on lakes, Leg Lake is one of those close by. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Middle Popo Agie River, and camping at Popo Agie Campground is always a nice experience. If you're       here, you might as well pop by Atlantic Canyon, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Little Sweetwater Trail. All the outdoors cool things in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back time and again. If you need a location to stay Best Western Inn At Lander is a wonderful choice. Around Thumb Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is December. Not                  enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a brilliant location to spend a night or two, and if you came to camp Fiddlers Lake Campground is a great site to do that. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. If the weather is great here at Thumb Lake, you can go for a hike along the Christina Lake Trail. Lakes are tremendous; Island Lake is a lake that's close to Thumb Lake. Through the months of summer at Thumb Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's.
