     Thomas Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shoshone River, needless to say you could also visit Phelps Enlargement Thomas Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Thomas Reservoir gets very little rainfall; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January.  
   This lake is so wonderful.
Thomas Reservoir is located in the Absaroka Range. Summertime highs at Thomas Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Thomas Reservoir through the winter commonly descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Jack Creek Trail; Greybull River has a
 
               good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. If you need a site to stay Cody Cowboy Village is a magnificent choice, and camping at Brown Mountain Campground is always a glorious experience. If you came to camp Jack Creek Campground is a great place to do that, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Foster Number 3 Reservoir is just a very short distance away. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Absaroka Range. There's brilliant hiking along the Piney Creek Trail, and Phelps Enlargement Thomas Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out.
The Timber Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; dry warm beds await you at The Cody.
