There's magnificent hiking along the Timber Creek Trail; Thomas Reservoir is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Brown Mountain Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do in the Absaroka Range. A pleasant nearby hotel is Cody Cowboy Village, and paddling on Greybull River is so much fun. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing       stuff, what a great world it would be. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not explore Phelps Enlargement Thomas Reservoir right next door to Thomas Reservoir, and don't leave Thomas Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Piney Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Jack Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Shoshone River. So many entertaining things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too magnificent to be true.                  A scenic lake like Foster Number 3 Reservoir in close proximity to Thomas Reservoir is a great spot to stop by, and Jack Creek Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. If you need a place to stay The Cody is a perfect choice, and Phelps Enlargement Thomas Dam is a spot that is in the vicinity of Thomas Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Thomas Reservoir is a location that is relatively dried up ordinarily; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. Throughout the summer highs here at Thomas Reservoir reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
