    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Wyoming you can check out Thomas Reservoir. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun things to do in the Absaroka Range. Dry warm beds await you at The Cody; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shoshone River. Around Thomas Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during May this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.  
   During the warmest time of the year at Thomas Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Thomas Reservoir are in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Thomas Reservoir is Jack Creek Campground, and Greybull River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. Thomas Reservoir is located
 
               in the Absaroka Range. Be careful coming to Thomas Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go home again. Phelps Enlargement Thomas Dam is not far at all from Thomas Reservoir, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Timber Creek Trail.
Why not camp at Brown Mountain Campground while you're here at Thomas Reservoir; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Piney Creek Trail. If you need a spot to stay Cody Cowboy Village is a nice choice; Thomas Reservoir is not the only place close by, Nina Reservoir is a close by lake. You definitely must go for the Absaroka Range. Hiking along the Jack Creek Trail is nice fun.
